When I started doing self-love work and intentionally brining joy into my life, people that pulled me down fell off my radar real quick. I chose to surround myself with virtual #mentors
, started to read more, walked outside more often, asked more questions, and ate better. . . . When I was down in the dumps, I just wanted a shortcut to get out of feeling shitty about myself. I looked for the quick #elixir
that could cure my sadness. The only way out were the small steps. . . . 1% changes, 2-milimeter changes, kaizen. I learned it is all about small #changes
that make the difference. I went to the gym once a week, I added more veggies to my meals, I did my #work in smaller time chunks, I said I love you more often, I set up a $0.79 and $.0.29 automatic savings transfer in my bank account (lol in addition to my 2 tfsa and rrsp), I intentionally took in more sun, I read #books one chapter at a time. It was the little things that mattered. . What tiny chages are you making this winter to help prevent getting SAD?
